About Riviera Country Club
Riviera Country Club has been a staple of the Miami area for 70 years, and has been rated a five-star Platinum Club of America since 1999.
In 1925, Donald Ross’ twin layouts were revealed for the Miami-Biltmore Country Club, a North and South course. In 1945, the new Riviera Country Club organized and purchased the South Course and surrounding property for $50,000.
Fast-forward to 2015, Kipp Schulties started an $8 million renovation and created one of the most modern and unique golf course designs in South Florida. He added character, contour and elevation, plus nearly three acres of lakes. The course kept the spirit of the original Donald Ross layout while making the adjustments that today’s players want.
