About Turtle Creek Club
Turtle Creek Club has become one of the premier golf destinations in South Florida, located in the Tequesta / Jupiter area. The golf course was originally designed by Gentleman Joe Lee in 1969. He always considered Turtle Creek Club to be one of his finest accomplishments. With good reason, it is appealing to the average golfer and still challenging to the highly skilled player.
In 2016, the Turtle Creek Club completed an extensive renovation led by local architect Kipp Schulties. Mr. Schulties, along with the membership, helped modernize this Joe Lee masterpiece. The course is characterized by its open fairways and challenging greens. Also, during this renovation, there was a change in the type of grass. A type of Bermuda grass called Celebration would be used for the tees, rough, and fairways. The green surfaces were redone with Tifeagle, which was used in the past.
